Kevin Eichner is a great teacher.
I just love the fire, can still smell the metal fire on me.
It smells so different from a pottery kiln fire
It is wonderfully different in its own way,
many more steps, but fun.
I also discovered that I will always make my orginals in clay - the wax does not respond like clay.

Melody is President of the Triangle Potters Guild, serves on the Advisory Board for the CCCC sculpture curriculum and is a long time teacher of pottery.
She has taught at the North Carolina Pottery Center, NC State University and CCCC. Artists and crafsmen from around the world attend her workshops located on 28 acres in Chatham County.
Her work features clay and bronze sculptures as well as utilitarian pottery.
